PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polylactic acid-based sheet or film excellent in impact resistance, tear resistance, heat resistance, rigidity and transparency. SOLUTION: A resin composition is prepared which comprises a polymer (A) consisting primarily of lactic acid, an aliphatic polyester (B) consisting primarily of an aliphatic carboxylic acid and a chain-molecular diol, and core-shell type rubber (C), wherein the total amount of the aliphatic polyester (B) and the core-shell type rubber (C) is 30-80 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the polymer (A), and the weight ratio of the aliphatic polyester (B) to the core-shell type rubber (C) is 30/70 to 70/30, provided that (B)+(C)=100. The resin composition is molded to obtain the objective sheet or film in which the aliphatic polyester (B) forms a fibril structure or a continuously ramified or netted three-dimensional structure in the polymer (A).
