PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To draw different drawing patterns without providing a carriage with a rotating mechanism for rotating an array direction of nozzles. SOLUTION: A carriage 400 moving along a pair of guide rails 102 includes a nozzle head 30 and a nozzle head 40 different in array directions of provided nozzles. Consequently, a liquid material can be discharged through nozzles having preferable array directions in accordance with different drawing patterns such as shapes of respective color pixels of a color filter. As a result, different drawing patterns can be drawn without providing the carriage with a rotating mechanism for rotating the array direction of nozzles, so that the increase in weight of the carriage and the positional deviation of nozzles due to rotation are avoided.
