PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a fluid in a supercooled state to flow out from a gas-liquid separator. SOLUTION: This gas-liquid separator comprises a container 10 for separating the fluid in a gas-liquid two phase state into liquid-phase fluid and gas-phase fluid, a gas-liquid inflow pipe 20 for allowing the fluid in the gas-liquid two phase state to flow into the container 10, a liquid-phase outflow pipe 30 for allowing the liquid-phase fluid to flow out from the container 10, and a gas-phase outflow pipe 40 for allowing the gas-phase fluid to flow out from the container 10. The container 10 has a thin plate 50, and the thin plate 50 comprises a projecting portion 51. The projecting portion 51 has a tip portion 51a having the sharp shape constantly dipped in a liquid film formed inside of a swirl face, and the fluid is brought into a supercooled state by locally reducing a pressure of the fluid.
