PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejecting device that is more compact in one direction. SOLUTION: The ink-jet printer includes two ink-jet heads 2 separately belonging to four pairs of heads. The ejecting surface 3a of each ink-jet head 2 is wiped by each wiper 72. The two wipers 72 for the two ink-jet heads 2 belonging to the same pair of heads are disposed at both ends in the sub-scanning direction of the same pair of heads in the wiping starting position not facing an ink ejecting area 3c. In this case. the two wipers 72 partly overlap each other along the sub-scanning direction. In the wiping end position not facing the ink ejecting area 3c, the two wipers 72 are disposed between the two ink-jet heads 2 while overlapping each other along a main scanning direction.
