PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electric power consumption during heat-keeping time without enlarging a heat insulation space. SOLUTION: An electric hot-water reserving container includes an inner container 3 for holding hot water, a heating means for heating water stored in the inner container 3, and a lid body 2 that covers the upper part of the inner container 3 and that has a steam passage 16 for discharging the steam generated in the inner container 3 to the outside, wherein there is installed in the steam passage 16 a heat accumulation part 23 that accumulates heat of the steam generated during water-boiling time, the steam generated when the water stored in the inner container 3 is heated and boiled by the heating means is discharged to the outside through the steam passage 16, and during this process, heat retained in the steam is accumulated in the heat accumulation part 23 installed in the steam passage 16, and the heat accumulated in the heat accumulation part 23 is radiated to the hot-water side during the heat-keeping time.
