PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent composition suppressing variation of hue after storage. SOLUTION: The liquid detergent composition contains the following components (a)-(d): (a) 10-50% mass of a non-ionic surfactant containing 6-15% mass of a compound represented by general formula (I): R-O(AO)<SB>n</SB>H [wherein R is an 8-22C hydrocarbon group, AO is a 2-4C oxyalkylene group, and n is a number selected from 0, 1 and 2], (b) 0.01-0.5% mass of a sulfite or a hydrogen-sulfite, (c) 0.0001-0.01% mass of an oil-soluble pigment, and (d) amines.
