PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation wire stopper mechanism of an endoscope capable of adjusting the maximum traction amount of an operation wire to a range exceeding the adjustment margin of a fixed stopper without increasing the adjustment margin of the fixing position of a fixed stopper and without exchanging the fixed stopper. SOLUTION: The operation wire stopper mechanism of the endoscope is constituted so that the fixing position of the fixed stopper 20 for regulating the forward/backward movable range of the operation wire 6 is set so as to be adjustable along the forward/backward direction of the operation wire 6, wherein an abutting member 30 on which a movable stopper 11 attached to the operation wire 6 is abutted is attached to the fixed stopper 20 so as to be movably adjustable in the forward/backward direction of the operation wire 6 further for the fixed stopper 20.
