PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely hold a workpiece by a clamp arm, and favorably maintain its holding force. SOLUTION: A clamp device 10 is provided with a clamp 14 capable of holding the workpiece W, a cylinder 18 driven by the feed of a pressure fluid, and a drive force transmission mechanism 20 capable of transmitting a drive force from the cylinder 18 to the clamp 14. The drive force transmission mechanism 20 comprises a guide member 28 provided in a body 12 so as to be displaceable, two pairs of rotation rollers 98a and 98b rotatably held on both side surfaces of the guide member 28, and a support shaft 70 inserted into a second link groove 100 of the guide member 28 to rotatably support the clamp arm 16.
