The invention relates to a method for making flight baggage available to the passengers of a certain flight in the arrival sector of an airport terminal, said baggage being transported in an aircraft, preferably in standardized baggage containers (ULD). In order to announce to the passenger that his/her item of baggage is made available on one of the baggage conveyor belts and to simultaneously make sure that the item of baggage of a passenger or a plurality of items of baggage are actually available on the announced baggage conveyor belt, the flight baggage is logistically associated with passenger-related criteria that are stored in a computer and that determine upon or after unloading of the aircraft or the baggage containers the distribution of the flight baggage to one of a plurality of baggage conveyor belts.
