The method involves applying a retaining unit formed of two semi-rings (70) on a fixed end plate (22), where a part of the semi-rings is in radial contact with external portions (61, 62) of a movable end plate (20). The semi-rings are fixed on the fixed end plate, and a locking pressure is applied on the semi-rings. The locking pressure is directed radially for applying a radial pressure of the semi-rings on the movable end plate.
