PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for manufacturing a driven wheel driving system which is unnecessarily strong by structuring a driving force distribution device so that a torque which is practically unnecessarily large is not transmitted to driven wheels.
SOLUTION: A first roller 31 is formed integrally with an input shaft 12 for transmitting torque to rear wheels, and a second roller 32 is formed integrally with an output shaft 13 for directing torque to front wheels. The distance L1 between the axes of the rollers 31, 32 is made smaller than the sum of the radii of the rollers 31, 32 in order that the rollers are radially press-contacted with each other, and as a result, part of the torque transmitted from the shaft 12 to the rear wheels is directed from the shaft 13 to the front wheels via the rollers 31, 32. To set the radial pressing force between the rollers, the distance L1 between the axes of the rollers is determined so that a maximum roller transmission torque in a state where the ratio of torque distribution to the front wheels, which is determined by the pressing force is maximum becomes less than a maximum front-wheel distribution torque when a maximum input is transmitted to the input shaft 12 when the ratio of torque distribution to the front wheel is maximum.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
