VIDEO IMAGE REPRODUCING SYSTEM, SERVER, TERMINAL DEVICE AND VIDEO IMAGE GENERATING METHOD OR THE LIKE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract and reproduce a certain area of images desired by a viewer when the images are partially extracted by applying a digital camera work.

SOLUTION: This video image reproducing system is provided with: a reading means for reading a video image from a storage means; an extracting means for extracting partial still images from each still image based on reproduction control information for defining an area of the partial still image to be extracted from each of a plurality of still images configuring the read video image in association with the still image; a reproducing means for sequentially reproducing the extracted partial still images, thereby reproducing the partial still images as new video images; and an input means used to designate an area of the partial still images to be extracted from each still image. If the input means is used for designating the area, the extracting means extracts the partial images from each still image based on the designation instead of the reproduction control information.
