<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical member having a thin film which is improved in slipperiness, durability and wear resistance with respect to a conventional water repellent film. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the optical member, the water repellent films composed of two layers are formed by depositing a vapor deposition material containing a mixture composed of a specific fluorine substituted alkyl group-containing organic silicon compound and a specific silane compound on the optical member to form a first water repellent layer, and immersing the optical member into an immersion material containing a specific perfluoropolyether-polysiloxane copolymer denatured silane and a solvent thereon to form a second water repellent layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
