RADIO RECEIVER, AND RADIO RECEPTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve highly accurate burst synchronization by reducing transmission efficiency degradation due to overheads and a signal processing operation amount.

SOLUTION: A radio receiver for turning a differentially encoded synchronizing code sequence to a training symbol and receiving radio burst signals consisting of the training symbol and an information symbol detects a frame symbol timing from a reception burst signal sequence which is over-sampled using a training symbol series included in the radio burst signals, and extracts a reception burst symbol sequence on the basis of the detected frame symbol timing. Also, a reception information symbol sequence is extracted from the extracted reception burst symbol sequence to identify symbols.
