<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently prevent breakage of a component of an optical connector 1 for incoming and outgoing when the optical axis of a high power laser beam is aligned while promoting miniaturization and weight reduction of the optical connector 1 for incoming and outgoing. <P>SOLUTION: The optical connector for incoming and outgoing includes a cylindrical connector body 5 having a through-hole 7 capable of passing an optical fiber 3. A ferrule 17 is coaxially disposed on the tip side of the connector body 5, and has an insertion hole 23 into which the optical fiber 3 can be inserted. An optical terminal 27 with a diameter longer than the outer diameter of the optical fiber 3 is fixed to the tip of the ferrule 17, and is coaxially welded and joined to the tip surface of a coating removed part 3a in the optical fiber 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
