PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp socket allowing easy assembly and inspection of a lamp, and to provide a liquid crystal display device equipped therewith and a liquid crystal display device manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The lamp socket includes a housing including a connection terminal to be electrically connected to a lamp terminal, a cover hinged to the housing, a fixing part for fixing the housing to the cover, and an angle holding part for holding the opening angle of the cover as predetermined.
