PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the same receiver to perform an automatic gain processing and a distortion compensation processing in a relay amplifying apparatus. SOLUTION: A downlink system 30 of a relay amplifying apparatus 10 comprises a directional coupler 33, a common receiver 40 and a control section 50. The directional coupler 33 is provided on a route between a downlink system amplifier 32 and a downlink system second BPF 35, and a signal branched by the directional coupler 33 is sent to the common receiver 40. The control section 50 controls components of the downlink system 30 totally and performs signal amplification control in the downlink system amplifier 32 or compensation processing of distortion caused by amplification property of the downlink system amplifier 32 based on notification information sent from a base station device 11.
