PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction port body of a vacuum cleaner which is capable of easily raking out and cleaning dust clamped in a groove when there is the groove in a direction crossing the advancing direction of the suction port body, and the vacuum cleaner. SOLUTION: A crankpin 108 formed on the rotary shaft 49 of an air turbine 24a is inserted into a yoke part 80 projected from the slide base part 79 of a raised cloth 77. At the yoke part 80, a hole part which is roughly rectangular in a flat cross-sectional view and whose long side is formed in the width direction of the suction port body 8 and short side to which the crankpin 108 can be inserted is formed in the width direction of the suction port body 8 is formed, and the crankpin 108 is inserted to the hole part. The crankpin 108 is circularly moved around the center axis of the rotary shaft 49 when the rotary shaft 49 is rotated by the rotary movement of the air turbine 24a, and the slide base part 79 is horizontally moved back and forth in the width direction of the suction port body 8 through the yoke part 80.
