PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of feeding paper sheets capable of well eliminating the clogging of paper sheets in a blast tube when the paper sheets are fed by air flow. SOLUTION: This paper sheet feeder comprises the blast tube 22 and an air flow generator 24 for generating an air flow in the blast tube 22. In the method, the paper sheets 32 are fed by the paper sheet feeder in the blast tube 22. A deformation part 32b is formed on the paper sheets 32, the paper sheets 32 are sent to the blast tube 22, and the paper sheets 32 are fed by an air pressure acting on the deformation part 32b. When the paper sheet 32 is clogged in the blast tube 22, the movement of the paper sheet 32 is promoted by acting a physical force on the paper sheet 32 to eliminate the clogging of the paper sheet 32.
