PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a rubber composition securing low rolling resistance without damaging its rupture characteristic, and the rubber composition obtained by the method and a tire obtained by using the same composition. SOLUTION: This method for producing the rubber composition containing (A) a natural rubber, (B) a styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber, (C) a reinforcing filler and (D) a crosslinking agent is provided by obtaining a master batch by adding the whole of (C) the reinforcing filler to (A) the natural rubber, and then mixing/kneading (B) the styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber and (D) the crosslinking agent into the obtained master batch.
