PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system for remotely controlling a computer terminal. SOLUTION: The remote control system for executing the remote control of a terminal to be controlled has an operation screen information acquiring part for acquiring operation screen information displayed on a display device of the terminal to be controlled, a remote control processing part for using the acquired operation screen information of the terminal to be controlled to execute remote control processing, and a control situation determining part for determining a situation of the remote control of the terminal to be controlled, wherein the remote control processing part changes an acquisition interval and/or data amount of the operation screen information of the terminal to be controlled according to the situation of the remote control determined by the control situation determining part.
