<p>The device i.e. pre-controller (13), has a synchronous machine, where integral electrical speed and/or speed of the machine are compared with frequency of a manipulated variable (U-d, komp). A sinusoidal shaped manipulated variable is over plugged by the device in field-oriented co-ordinates over an integral divider of an electrical angle in a current control circuit or a torque control circuit of the machine. An amplitude (A-d) and phase angle (gamma-d) of the integral divider are mapped by an analytic function of rotational speed and/or longitudinal and/or cross flow of the machine. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for current or momentum controlling a synchronous machine (2) a computer program with program code unit for performing a method for current or momentum controlling a synchronous machine.</p>
