<p>The method involves adjusting gas mixture of preset defined composition by a set of pumping electrodes (150). A gas component is determined and is transferred by an internal pumping electrode (140) arranged on a side of a porous diffusion barrier (120) turned away to an exhaust gas side, where the electrodes are arranged on an ion-conducting solid electrolyte (110). Calibrating value is concluded from resulting pumping current (Ipump) and/or temporal distribution of the current. The internal electrode is separated from the gas mixture by the barrier and is arranged in a cavity (130). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program for implementing a method for calibrating a sensor element for a sensor (2) a computer program product with program code, which is stored on a machine-readable medium, for execution of a method calibrating a sensor element for a sensor.</p> |
