A second main shaft bearing (253) having a second main shaft bearing hole (253A) in which a main shaft (241) penetrates and main shaft bearing urging means (264) for urging the second main shaft bearing (253) to an upper side are provided on a pickup body (251) for a disc device. With this, the pickup body (251) on which the main shaft bearing urging means (264) is attached can be urged to the upper side and the lower side portion of the second main shaft bearing hole (253A) is pushed onto the lower side portion of the main shaft (241). Consequently, the pickup body (251) can be positioned relative to the main shaft (241) and the oscillation of an optical pickup (280) can be suppressed. Further, a clearance between the main shaft (241) and the second main shaft bearing hole (253A) are not required to be reduced and a structure for suppressing the oscillation of the optical pickup (280) can be manufactured easily.
