<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety fence of a belt conveyor capable of guaranteeing safety while installing it without causing cost increase and of facilitating maintenance. <P>SOLUTION: Mounting brackets 21, 28 are mounted on a conveyor frame by holding the conveyor frame, supports 23, 210 for mounting a fence panel are fixed on the mounting brackets, hook parts 24, 211 and engaging rings 25, 212 are fixed on the supports for mounting, the fence panel is hung down on the hook parts by hooking its upper end part on them, the engaging rings are inserted through a central part of the fence panel and the fence panel is mounted on the supports for mounting as they are pressed on them as cotters 26, 213 are inserted into the engaging rings on the belt conveyor.
