<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a driver to have an improved operational feeling by keeping him or her from sensing the non-active movement of a master cylinder, thus causing him or her to have an impression that he or she is rightly applying the brake immediately. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing means is provided so that, when a pneumatic piston has moved a prescribed distance C, a sleeve 54 can be coupled to a pneumatic piston 12 in the axial direction, while in a brake booster, a three-way valve has a valve shutter 46 for the purpose of pressing it against first and/or second valve seats 48, 50, whereas the second valve seat 50 is supported by a first end portion in the longitudinal direction of a distribution device - a plunger 32, while the first valve seat is sustained by a first end portion in the longitudinal direction of the sleeve 54, with the fixing means gradually moving the sleeve in accordance with the movement of the piston. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
