PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine capable of washing the laundry without using a detergent.

SOLUTION: The washing machine includes: a body 1 of the washing machine; a washing tank 5 which is provided inside the body and houses the laundry; a washing water supply means 15 for supplying washing water containing nanobubbles to the washing tank; and an ultraviolet ray generator 33 for breaking the nanobubbles contained in the washing water supplied into the washing tank.
