<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the usability of a printer by facilitating setting of sides of paper to the printer. <P>SOLUTION: In a "paper setting" card in a dialog box DB indicating properties of the printer, a plain image showing a three-dimensional image of the printer is displayed in a display column E6 thereof. The plain image includes a paper carrying path in printing shown by an arrow.
