<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sphygmomanometer and a confirmation system for measurement accuracy of the sphygmomanometer capable of confirming the accuracy of measurement by a simple and inexpensive structure. <P>SOLUTION: In an accuracy confirmation device 60, an air system is made to communicate with an air system 23 for measurement of a body 2 by connecting a connection plug 92 to a connector 6 of the sphygmomanometer, and a CPU 80 is allowed to communicate with a CPU 50 of the sphygmomanometer via a communication line 70. When the CPU 50 detects the operation of an accuracy confirmation mode switch and sets an accuracy confirmation mode as the operation mode, the CPU 50 executes the blood pressure measurement process. Then, the CPU 80 of the accuracy confirmation device 60 controls respective parts to generate pseudo pulses within an air tube 90, and becomes in a waiting state for receiving the maximum blood pressure value from the CPU 50. When the maximum blood pressure value is received from the CPU 50, the CPU 80 computes the pressure deviation between the maximum pressure value measured by the sphygmomanometer and the maximum pressure value measured by the accuracy confirmation device 60, and if the computed pressure deviation is not more than a threshold, the CPU 80 determines that the accuracy of measurement by the sphygmomanometer satisfies a prescribed standard and is normal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
