PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium processor which can place a medium on a tray or take it out of the tray without fail in the processing section of a medium and perform various processing with high reliability. SOLUTION: This medium processor has a label printer 11 incorporating a medium tray 45 having a holder 46 for a plate medium M, and a medium transfer mechanism 31 having a transfer arm 36 to transfer the medium M on the medium tray 45 or to receive it from the tray. Furthermore, the medium tray 45 has a positioning pin 57 made thinner toward the tip with a tapering slanted surface 57a, and a medium guide 133 of the transfer arm 36 has a positioning hole 136 to insert the positioning pin 57. The transfer arm 36 and the medium tray 45 are aligned to each other in their relative positions when the slanted surface 57a touches the positioning hole 136. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
