PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver capable of playing back a recorded program or a network program with a simple remote control operation. SOLUTION: A button information control part 20 allots information indicating the recorded program which is assigned by a user operation or information identifying a network site which distributes the network program instead of a broadcast channel corresponding to a direct select button, as replacement program information, with respect to the direct select button included by a remote control 25 for operating the digital broadcast receiver 10, and generates and holds replacement setting information indicating correspondence of the direct select button and the allotted replaced program information, or the like. When a signal indicating that the direct select button to which the replaced program information is allotted is input, the control part 24 reproduces the program corresponding to the pressed direct select button based on the replacement setting information.
