PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intercom system for a multiple dwelling house allowing a resident to get mails without going to an entrance, and preventing erroneous delivery of mails. SOLUTION: A mail receiving box 4 is set in an entrance hall, individual mail boxes 5 are set to individual dwelling units, and a mail delivery apparatus 6 delivering mails to the individual mail boxes 5 from the mail receiving box 4. By operation of the delivery of a collective entrance machine 1, an aggregation entrance machine control part 16 reads character information of receivers and senders by a character reading part 38, and compares them with resident information stored in a storing part 39 and determines, and performs delivery when the both coincide with each other, while, if not, delivery is not performed and non-coincidence is displayed on the collective entrance machine 1.
