PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary support mechanism that can detach a lid member from a cooler box main body, easily cleans the lid member and surely connects the lid member to the cooler box main body during use of the cooler box in the cooler box of single opening type. SOLUTION: The rotary support mechanism 120 includes a main body side hinge 121 fixed to the main body 2 and a lid side hinge 122 fixed to an upper lid 3. A connection lever 123 is rotatably supported on the lid side hinge. When the upper lid 3 is displaced from a closed position to an open position, the tip 173 of the hook 172 of the connection lever is exposed to the surface 102 of the main body. A fishman can operate the tip of the hook. When the fishman pushes the tip of the hook to a lower side while pressing it in the direction to separate from a spindle 139, gripping between the hook and a contact part 162 is loosened and connection between the hook and the spindle is released.
