<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise-selling system wherein price information of merchandise can be changed, based on at lease either the stock quantity information or the expiration date information, and customers are appropriately provided with price information. <P>SOLUTION: In this merchandise-selling system, a store controller 200 enables the customer to know current merchandise and its quantity at shop 100, based on the comparison results between merchandise master 252 and recording media 251 for managing sales performance of the merchandise.
