<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which assures prevention of an influence of vibration or impact given to a scanner during an action by forbidding pulling out or attaching of a paper feed tray and at the same time improves deterioration in productivity of a print job (image forming process). <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a control section which forbids pulling out or attaching of the paper feed tray when different jobs are being executed at the same time in an original read section and an image forming section and stops an action of the original read section based on an operating instruction or automatically when no paper is detected by a paper detection means during an action of the original read section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
