<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus such as a copying machine, a facsimile device or a printer equipped with an unwanted matter container in which an unwanted matter such as waste toner or paper powder is stored, and capable of preventing scattering or overflowing of the unwanted matter from the unwanted matter container without providing a shutter. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: the unwanted matter container 37 in which the unwanted matter is stored; an opening/closing body 31 which opens and closes an image forming apparatus body 51 together with the unwanted matter container 37, and exposes the unwanted matter container 37 to the outside of the image forming apparatus body 51 when it is opened to the image forming apparatus body 51; and a supporting means 40 which supports the unwanted matter container 37 on the opening/closing body 31 so as to maintain the posture of the unwanted matter container 37 when the opening/closing body 31 is opened to the image forming apparatus body 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
