<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead forming jig which can flexibly cope with the arrangement of through-holes in a printed circuit board for inserting a discrete component. <P>SOLUTION: A jig for forming the lead wires 11 of a discrete component 3, in matching with the profile of through-holes, arranged irregularly in a printed circuit board comprises a holder 4 for setting the discrete component 3; a lower die 5 which is movable in the horizontal direction in matching with the forming dimensions; and an upper die 10 which presses the lead wires to bend. Since the forming jig has such a structure as the component holder 4 and the lower die 5 being separable, even if different forming is required for each discrete component, replacement of the lower die 5 is not required and forming of arbitrary dimension and shape can be carried out with one lower die 5, by simply replacing only the component holder 4 in matching with h the component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
