<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified nigrosine colorant, which is highly dispersible in a resin and has a reduced residual aniline content, a process for producing the same, and an electrostatic charge image developing toner which has excellent charging characteristics, is free from fogging, is free from scattering of the toner into a developing apparatus, and is less likely to cause a variation in image density. <P>SOLUTION: The modified nigrosine comprises nigrosine (b) modified with a rosin modified resin (a) having an acid value of not greater than 110. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
