PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize a stabilization of a wavelength, a reduction of a loss of an optical resonator, and an improvement of a cooling efficiency. SOLUTION: In a surface emitting laser, a first optical multilayer film formed on a diaphragm for controlling a wavelength is opposed to a second optical multilayer film through an active layer, whereby the optical resonator is formed with the first and second optical multilayer films.
