PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a transfer time by controlling the transfer order of difference data between storage devices, and maximizing a time for sufficiently using a network band. SOLUTION: A storage system 1 includes: a local storage 10; and a remote storage 20 connected to the local storage 10 via a network, and transfers the difference data of a plurality of magnetic disks between the local storage 10 and the remote storage 20. The system includes a control part 13 for estimating the transfer time of the difference data, and changing the combination and the number of the magnetic disks to be simultaneously transferred.
