PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a rubber composition securing a low rolling resistance without damaging its destructive characteristics, and the rubber composition obtained by the method and a tire obtained by using the same composition. SOLUTION: This method for producing the rubber composition containing (A) a styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber (SBR), (B) an SBR which is the same to or different from the above SBR(A), (C) a reinforcing filler and (D) a cross-linking agent is provided by using as the SBR(A), the one having a higher styrene content than that of the SBR(B), obtaining a master batch by adding the whole of (C) the reinforcing filler to the SBR(A), and then mixing/kneading the SBR(B) and (D) the cross-linking agent into the obtained master batch.
