PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a rubber composition securing a low rolling resistance without damaging its destructive character, and the rubber composition obtained by the method and a tire obtained by using the same composition. SOLUTION: This method for producing the rubber composition containing (A) a diene-based rubber having terminal modifying groups, (B) a diene-based rubber which is the same to or different from the above diene-based rubber, (C) a reinforcing filler and (D) a cross-linking agent is provided by obtaining a master batch by adding the whole of (C) the reinforcing filler to (A) the diene-based rubber, and then mixing/kneading (B) the diene based rubber and (D) the cross-linking agent into the obtained master batch.
