PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device in which reception of a remote operation signal can be set within a desired range without increasing the size of a device body. SOLUTION: The electronic device includes an IR filter which passes the remote operation signal sent from outside through a light transmitting surface and an IR reception unit in which a normal line passing a center of the light transmitting surface is offset from a normal line passing a center of a light receiving area of a light receiving surface that receives the light of the remote operation signal.
