#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves determining self aligning torque basic value (Mrsm), tracking torque basic value (Mshm) and steering torque. Two weighting factors are determined based on the steering torque. A modified self aligning torque and a modified tracking torque are determined based on the determined basic values with the help of determined weighting factors. A correcting variable (Mem) for steering wheel actuator (10) is determined from the modified self aligning torque and the modified tracking torque.
