A comparator type DC-DC converter (1) includes a control unit (200) having: comparator units (20, 40) which compare an output voltage of a voltage conversion unit to a reference voltage so as to decide a predetermined ON width of an ON pulse or a predetermined OFF width of an OFF pulse in a control signal Ssw; and frequency control means (25) which compares the control signal Ssw to a reference clock Cref and adjusts the ON width or the OFF width so that the control signal Ssw has a constant frequency.
