<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawer type storing device capable of enhancing operatability and functionability of a drawer with doors by a latch mechanism with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The drawer 4 for mounting a keyboard 3 is arranged in a storing box 2 so as to be able to put into and put out of the storing box 2. The door 11 for closing the opening section 13 of the storing box 2 is erectably and layably attached to the front end of the drawer 4. The latch mechanism 14 for engaging the drawer 4 in a storing position with the storing box 2 is arranged in the door 11. The latch mechanism 14 has a pawl member for holding the door 11 in an erected posture by engaging with a part of the storing box 2 and a handle 17 for separating the pawl member from the storing box 2.
