<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device against overturning capable of preventing overturning of a cabinet without using a stationary part, and to provide an electronic apparatus unit. <P>SOLUTION: The safety device against overturning 21 supports, for example, the cabinet 13 of an electronic apparatus 12. The cabinet 13 is arranged inside a rectangle of a base frame 28. A first horizontal frame 34 extending from a first vertical frame 29 toward a second vertical frame 32 in a horizontal direction, for example, receives one side surface 13a of the cabinet 13. Similarly, a second horizontal frame 36 extending from the second vertical frame 32 toward the first vertical frame 29 in the horizontal direction receives the other side surface 13b of the cabinet. The first horizontal frame 34 and the second horizontal frame 36 are interconnected with the use of a connecting member 38. Thanks to a configuration like this, the safety device against overturning 21 can support the cabinet 13 with a sufficient force.
