PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent quality deterioration of a pickup image due to light emission of an amplifier. SOLUTION: In this pickup image signal correction method of an imaging apparatus provided with: a solid-state image pickup device having a plurality of pixels which are arranged and formed like a two-dimensional array at a surface part of a semiconductor substrate 2a; and an amplifier 30 which is formed on the semiconductor substrate, and amplifies signals detected according to incident light intensity by each pixel, and an image signal processing means for processing signals output from the amplifier 30, a signal amount obtained by exposure of each pixel through the semiconductor substrate 2a by light emission caused in an operation of the amplifier 30 as a correction amount, and subtraction correction is performed to the correction amount from the detected signal amount of each pixel output from the amplifier 30.
