PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device for presenting information of a function relevant to the operation performed by a user using waiting time. SOLUTION: This image forming device displays information relevant to the operation when the user directly operates a multi-function apparatus to execute a job. The image forming device has a relevant information presenting section that stores functional information describing a function relevant to setting information in a storage section correspondingly to the setting information for executing the job and acquires and displays functional information presented relevantly to the job when the processing amount of the job under execution is larger than a predetermined amount.
