PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety torque intensifying tool which is safer than an existing torque intensifying tool during operation thereof even if the tool is used in high-speed and low-torque conditions. SOLUTION: The torque intensifying tool is formed of: a housing; a torque intensifying means housed in the housing; a switching means for switching operation of the tool between a first operation mode operable in the high-speed and low-torque conditions, and a second operation mode operable in low-speed and high-torque conditions; and an additional element which functions as a tool grip in the first operation mode and as a reaction arm in the second operation mode.
